Dinero Summit Privacy Policy

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy describes how Dinero Summit, LLC ("Dinero Summit," "we," or "us") collects, uses, and shares personal information when you use dinerosummit.ai and our related applications and services (the "Service"). The Service is intended for users in the United States.

2. Information We Collect

Information you provide. When you create an account or use the Service, we collect information such as your name, email address, phone number, password, and the financial details you enter, including income, housing costs, debts, and goals, as well as your communications with us.

Information from linked accounts. If you link financial accounts, we receive account data such as balances and transaction history through our data provider, Plaid. Your bank login credentials go directly to Plaid and are never stored on Dinero Summit servers.

Information collected automatically. We collect device and usage information, such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and interactions with the Service, using cookies and similar technologies. You can manage cookies through your browser settings and our cookie banner.

3. How We Use Information

We use personal information to provide and improve the Service; to generate analyses and recommendations through artificial intelligence systems provided by Anthropic, our AI provider, which processes the data solely to provide services to Dinero Summit, does not use it to train its models, and temporarily retains processing logs for up to 28 days for security and compliance purposes; to match you with partners when you ask us to; to process payments and manage subscriptions; to communicate with you; to protect the Service against fraud and misuse; and to comply with legal obligations.

4. How We Share Information

Service providers. We share information with vendors that perform services for us, such as hosting, payment processing, account connectivity (Plaid), AI processing, analytics, and customer support. These providers are permitted to use the information only to perform services for Dinero Summit.

Partners, at your direction. If you ask to be matched, we first show you the partner you have been matched with. We send your information to a partner only if you choose to connect with that partner, and we send only the information you provided, such as your name, contact information, and details like your debt amounts and goals. We do not send partners your credit report or your bank account information. Partners compensate Dinero Summit only if you obtain a product from, or enroll in a program with, that partner. Because of that compensation, some state privacy laws may treat this sharing as a "sale" of personal information. You can opt out at any time using the "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link in the footer of our site, and we will never send your information to a partner unless you choose to connect with that partner.

Legal and safety. We may disclose information to comply with law or legal process, to enforce our Terms of Use, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Dinero Summit, our users, or others.

Corporate transactions. If Dinero Summit is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this Policy.

We do not sell personal information to data brokers, and we do not share personal information with third parties for their own advertising purposes.

5. Your Choices and Rights

You may access, correct, or delete your account information in Settings or by contacting [email protected]. You may unlink a financial account at any time, opt out of marketing emails using the unsubscribe link, and opt out of text messages by replying STOP. Depending on your state, you may have additional rights, including the right to know what personal information we have about you, to request deletion, to correct inaccuracies, to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, and to appeal a decision on your request. You can exercise the sale or sharing opt-out through the "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link in the footer, and we honor opt-out preference signals such as Global Privacy Control. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

6. Security

We protect personal information with administrative, technical, and physical safeguards, including encryption of sensitive data in transit and at rest. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Retention

We keep personal information for as long as your account is active and for up to five years afterward, as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. If you ask us to delete your personal information, we delete it promptly, generally within 24 hours of a verified request, except for information we are required by law to retain.

8. Children

The Service is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through the Service before the changes take effect. The "Last updated" date above reflects the current version.
